Phenoliva Active outperforms established actives in potency and stability

We compared the antioxidant power of Phenoliva Active to several well-known ingredients by testing how effectively they neutralize harmful molecules called free radicals. Two complementary lab assays were used: one that measures electron donation (ABTS assay) and another that measures hydrogen atom donation (ORAC assay). See results below.

Here’s what stood out:

1. Phenoliva Active delivered the highest performance in the ORAC assay, making it exceptionally effective in neutralizing free radicals through hydrogen donation.

2. Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid) came out on top in the ABTS assay; however, its well-known instability limits its use in many cosmetic formulations.

3. Phenoliva Active offers a compelling alternative to Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid), combining strong antioxidant activity with significantly better stability, ensuring longer-lasting effectiveness in skincare products (see slide below).
